Recently I was given the opportunity to review Cascade Complete All in 1 Action Packs. I was sent a Cascade Complete All in 1 Action Pack kit by P&G through My Blog Spark and challanged to leave my dirtiest casserole dish out for 24 hours and then put it in the dishwasher with a Cascade Action Pack without rinsing. Needless to say I was a little skeptical! Here is what Cascade has to say about their Action Packs:
With new Cascade Complete - you won´t mind taking turns at the sink. And if the thought of dirty dishes in the sink has ever made you think twice about making a favorite meal, Cascade Complete is here to help.
The excess scrubbing of cookware and dirty tableware is not only tiring, but time consuming. Allowing the remains of a delicious dinner to set in its baking dish could mean water logged fingers and hours in the kitchen.
Put your pre-soaking days behind you, and lighten your load with Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs. They break down, dissolve, and rinse away tough food particles, leaving your hands free and your dishes sparkling. Sound too good to be true? We dare you to take the 24 Hour Challenge.
I took the 24 hour challenge and left out a baked ziti dish for 24 hours without rinsing. I put it in the dishwasher the next day with a Cascade Complete All In 1 Action Pack and was AMAZED that it actually came out completely clean! I expected there to be some food residue, but there honestly was NONE!

I hate speghetti stains or any tomato based products. Sometimes they stain the container they're stored in and I can't get that red out!

egg left on plates--it never comes off!
My lasagna in the crockpot always leaves a sticky mess even with lots of veggie spray. Probably most any pasta in any of my dishes...stains it and it's hard to get out. Thanks for the chance to win! tonidreist@yahoo.com
ReplyDeletespaghetti and eggs are always hard to clean.

Eggs seem to be the biggest problem food for me. I have to be sure to get it all off before I put it in the dishwasher. Would be interesting to see if the Cascade could handle it without the extra scrubbing.
ReplyDeletebaked spaghetti is delicious, but yucky to clean!

Just last week I had au gratin potatoes that had stuck to the bottom of the dish and I was soaking it for over a day to help get it off. Ugh...I hate dirty dishes sitting in the sink or running for a few loads in the dishwasher!

Cooked on cheese.. what a pain!
ReplyDeleteamyrrector (at) gmail (dot) com
I made lasagna that got a little overdone around the edges and really baked on to my glass casserole dish. I soaked it and still ended up having to do an awful lot of scrubbing to get it all out of the pan. That would be great if I could just put it in the dishwasher!!

Spaghetti leaves the biggest mess.

We use mostly glass dishes, so food sticking isn't a big problem, but I'd say the worst might be lasagna.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
